Agro-tourism is a new, popular method of traveling that allows people to have a first hand experience of traditional agricultural practices. Travelers stay in accommodations located on small farms or vineyards and participate in light farm work. Whether its making olive oil, tending grapes, or harvesting fruit there are many opportunities to have a greater understanding of the creative process for whichever Mediterranean foods you are interested in.
